Earlist memory
      My earlist memory is of my first day of school. I was four. I was riding my little pink trike. My dad was helping me and my mom was fliming me. I remember this because Iater on my little bike ride I fell off and scraped my knee.

Myths are alive and well in my house
 
     I've had a hard time finding something mythic, but if obssevie actions are mythic then my morning is full of them. I take a shower the same way every single day. I can't deviate from my patteren. Another thing I think eating eggs is. Because many creation myths have the eath being crreated from an egg. So I'm kind of eating creation.

"Is myth the precedent of every action"
 
    I believe this statement to be true. I believe there is a reason for every thing somebody and anything does. So, why not it be a myth. There is always a reason. Like the example given in class "Is there a myth behind me farting?" Yes, its a little ryhm that goes "beans beans the magical fruit" I believe we all know the rest. So there is a myth behind a fart.

Is there Mythology in everyday life?
 
   we'll of course their is mythology in everyday life. If the defition is true and myth is the presedent behind every action, then how can it not be. My name for instances is mythological. Its bibical so therefor must be mythological because the bible is myth.

I had a dream
 
    It was not a very good dream it was about me and my boyfriend getting lost in New York. Which is werid beceause I have never been to New YOrk and i am not going there. But we meet the weridest people, a goat and a clown together. It was werid.

    I had a thought about the male divine its all about the girls. They are either controled by feamles or controling females. It is all about the girls.

Santa
      I found out santa wasn't real when one christmas I was in my parents room and found a poly pocket toy. I was so excited. But when christmas came and the ploy pocket toy was from santa, I was devasted. I never told my parents. When I asked if santa was real my mom said "He is if you want him to be."

    My idea on the bible is that it is a book of storys so if myth is story then the bible is a book of myths. Not trying to discount the greatness of the bible, I am just saying you can't take the bible with out a grain of salt.

    Another thing myth I believe is making a come back. Movies are just another type of myth and you could look at actors as being the mythic gods and goddesses.

    And another thing we need to know that myths aren't always something to live by. Sometimes their something to move away from. Such as the short story "The Lottery" Stoneing people to death is not something that should continue and this isn't a story we should be living our lives like. Like the bible myths should be taken with a grain of salt, and we should learn from them.

    What do I know that I did not know before, well if the disscusion in class today was true then its what do I remember now that I had preveiously forgotten. So in answer I had forgotten that myth is behind everything. But due to class I remember that everything has a reason.

    the acrotype woman. What do I think about it? Couldn't tell you really. I think that the four types which were gave were acturte. I know I have female relitives which fit each one.

     Basicaly we talked about women. I don't think a womens place is in the kicthen. I do agree with the idea that a women is a unmovable mover. I believe women hold more power then they believe. We are the barers of life of course we have a certain amount of so called power. I also believe women are muilty dimensional indiviuals. We are too complex to be simpley one dimensional. We have many layers to our indiviuality.

Women
 
      After reading the goddess section of the myth and knowing book, I really got to thinking about women in today and yesturday. There are so many differences, such as I never knew their was a theroy of a women centered religion. What a difference from now. I also agree with the idea that a women centered culture would be not alot but still less violent. Women tend to be more on the nuturing side. More prone to the elementry nututer than the elementry evil mother.

    We had our presentaions today, all of which were really good. My favorite was the Genostic story its diffently different from the triddiontal Adam and eve story. It all it was refesing. it was my favorite by far.
